🎉 Official Grand Opening – A Day to Remember! 🎉
We are still buzzing with excitement after the incredible celebration on Friday for the Grand Opening of our school! Our special day was filled with joy, pride, music, and a strong sense of community. It was a celebration of love, equality and respect. Our school is a place where every child is cherished!
We were honoured to welcome Minister for Education Helen McEntee, who joined us for this milestone occasion. Her presence, along with the attendance of all our local TDs and Councillors, showed just how valued our school is within the wider community. Thank you all so much for taking the time to be part of our day.
A heartfelt thank you to all the Parents and Guardians who came to support us — your encouragement and belief in our vision has been vital since day one. The atmosphere was electric, and it was made even more memorable because you were there with us.
As guests arrived, they were welcomed with lively entertainment thanks to the incredible Patrice and Bernard Coyle — your music set the perfect tone for the celebrations! 🎶
A huge thanks also to John Sharpson for being our MC on the day, bringing such fun and good humour to our ceremony!
One of the standout moments of the day was the performance by our school choir. You sang with such passion and pride, and left the audience beaming with joy — you were simply fabulous! 🌟
To top it all off, the Army Band played a wonderful set just for the children, and the sight of them dancing together in the hall with their friends is something we’ll never forget. It was pure magic — memories that will last a lifetime! 🥁💃🕺
This grand opening would not have been possible without the support of Educate Together, who have walked this journey with us every step of the way. Thank you for your guidance, encouragement, and belief in what we’re building here.
